The American Diabetes Association has changed its recommendations for type 2 diabetes.
While previously encouraging movement every 90 minutes, diabetics are now being encouraged to get up and move every 30 minutes for at least 3 minutes.
The revised guidelines are a result of continued research, with special note of a recent paper, which found the the 30 minute suggestion had a positive effect on blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
In a nutshell, exercise recommendations for Diabetes has again been revised upwards. It has been consistently recommended in the ongoing management of Diabetes. This health condition has become a world wide concern and exercise deserves a greater amount of promotion in its management.
